Why go to SLS? #1 Consider it training for life as a saint. I'll let the Saints convince you to go! “To live without faith, without a patrimony to defend, without a steady struggle for truth, that is not living, but existing" --Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati
"It is Jesus who stirs in you the desire to do something great with your lives, the will to follow an ideal, the refusal to allow yourselves to be ground down by mediocrity, the courage to commit yourselves humbly and patiently to improving yourselves and society, making the world more human and more fraternal.” - Blessed Pope John Paul II
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” -- Jesus, Mt 28:16-20

You don't have to ski to be a saint, but it helps
